🔹 1. Prescription / Indication:
Clotrimazole 1% cream is an antifungal topical medication used to treat fungal skin infections, including:
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Candidiasis (skin yeast infections)
- Pityriasis versicolor (fungal patches of skin discoloration)
- Vaginal candidiasis (for external relief, not intravaginal)
🔹 2. Description:
- Form: Topical cream
- Strength: 1% w/w clotrimazole
- Color: White to off-white cream
- Texture: Smooth, non-greasy
- Application: Thin layer over the affected area 2–3 times daily
- Duration: Use for 2–4 weeks depending on infection type
