๐ Description:
Xylometazoline 0.05% nasal drops is a topical nasal decongestant used to relieve nasal congestion in conditions like colds, sinusitis, and allergic rhinitis.
- Strength: 0.05% w/v
- Each mL contains 0.5 mg of Xylometazoline hydrochloride
๐งพ Prescription / Uses:
Indicated for:
- Nasal congestion due to:
- Common cold
- Sinusitis
- Allergic rhinitis
- Other upper respiratory tract infections
Recommended for:
- Infants and children (up to 12 years) โ under pediatric guidance
Typical dosing:
- 1โ2 drops in each nostril every 8โ10 hours
- Do not exceed 3 doses/day
- Use for maximum 5โ7 days
