🔹 1. Prescription / Indication:

Tropicamide 1% eye drops are used for:

  • Pupil dilation (mydriasis) and cycloplegia (paralysis of accommodation)
  • Prior to diagnostic procedures such as:
    • Fundoscopy
    • Refraction tests (especially in children)
    • Retinal photography
  • Occasionally used preoperatively for eye surgery
