  3. Leave cream on for 8โ€“14 hours (usually overnight)
  4. Wash off with soap and water
  5. Repeat after 7โ€“14 days if symptoms persist or reinfection suspected

  • Do not apply to mucous membranes, eyes, or mouth
  • Wash clothing, bedding, and towels in hot water
  • Itching may persist for 2โ€“4 weeks post-treatment โ€“ not a sign of treatment failure

  • For crusted scabies: may require repeated applications and oral ivermectin
