๐Ÿ”น 1. Prescription / Indication:

Fusidic acid 2% cream is a topical antibiotic used for treating bacterial skin infections, especially those caused by Staphylococcus aureus, including:

  • Impetigo
  • Infected eczema or dermatitis
  • Infected cuts, wounds, and abrasions
  • Furunculosis (boils)
  • Secondary skin infections due to insect bites or burns

  • Form: Topical cream
  • Strength: 2% w/w fusidic acid
  • Appearance: White, smooth cream
  • Route: External use only
  • Application: Apply 2โ€“3 times daily or as prescribed
  • May be covered with a non-occlusive dressing
