π Doxycycline Dry Syrup 50 mg/5 mL
π Description:
- Doxycycline is a tetracycline-class broad-spectrum antibiotic.
- Pediatric formulation: Each 5 mL after reconstitution contains 50 mg doxycycline.
- Acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis (binds to 30S ribosomal subunit).
- It is bacteriostatic and effective against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, atypical organisms, and certain protozoa.
