π Description:
- Doxycycline is a tetracycline-class broad-spectrum antibiotic.
- It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing aminoacyl-tRNA attachment.
- It is bacteriostatic, but effective against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, atypical organisms, and some protozoa.

- Respiratory tract infections β bronchitis, pneumonia (including atypical pneumonia by Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Legionella)

- Malaria prophylaxis & treatment (in combination)
