Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic, formulated as a sterile injectable solution containing 150 mg per mL. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit.
This injectable form is indicated for moderate to severe infections, particularly when oral therapy is not suitable.
