Betamethasone valerate 0.05% cream is a topical corticosteroid used to treat various inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions, including:

  • Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
  • Psoriasis (except widespread plaque psoriasis)
  • Seborrheic dermatitis
  • Contact dermatitis (allergic or irritant)
  • Lichen planus
  • Insect bite reactions
  • Pruritus ani/genital
