✅ DESCRIPTION
Enoxaparin sodium is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant. It primarily inhibits Factor Xa and to a lesser extent Factor IIa (thrombin), preventing clot formation.
⚖️ COMPOSITION
- Each 0.6 mL prefilled syringe contains:
- Enoxaparin sodium 60 mg
- In a sterile, preservative-free aqueous solution
- For subcutaneous (SC) injection
📌 INDICATIONS / USES
- Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) with or without pulmonary embolism (PE)
- Unstable angina and non–Q wave myocardial infarction (NSTEMI)
- STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction)
- Anticoagulation bridging when oral anticoagulants are stopped
- Thromboprophylaxis in hospitalized patients (surgical, immobile)
- COVID-19–associated coagulopathy (based on clinical protocol)

- Initial IV bolus + SC dosing
- Adjust for renal impairment
- Administration route:
