β DESCRIPTION
Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant to prevent and treat blood clots. It works by inhibiting Factor Xa and thrombin (Factor IIa), thus preventing fibrin formation.

- Each 0.4 mL prefilled syringe contains:
- Enoxaparin sodium 40 mg
- In sterile, preservative-free aqueous solution for subcutaneous injection
π INDICATIONS / USES
- Prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in:
- Post-surgical patients
- Immobile medical patients
- Treatment of acute DVT or pulmonary embolism (PE)
- Acute coronary syndrome (ACS):
- Unstable angina
- NSTEMI
- Bridging anticoagulation during interruption of oral anticoagulants
- COVID-19βrelated thromboprophylaxis (as per protocol)

- Start 2 hours before surgery or upon hospitalization
- Renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min):
- 20 mg SC once daily
