Ondansetron Oral Liquid is an antiemetic formulation designed for pediatric and adult patients who may have difficulty swallowing tablets. It is a selective 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting due to a variety of causes, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and postoperative recovery.

Prescribed for:
- Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)
- Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (RINV)
- Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV)
- Nausea in children from gastroenteritis or febrile illness (off-label)
Common Dosing (Pediatric):
- Children 1 month to 12 years:
Dose depends on body weight; usually 0.1–0.15 mg/kg, not exceeding adult dose - Adults and adolescents:
8 mg (i.e., 20 mL) before chemotherapy or as directed
